The cathedral opened at 8:15 am. Being there when they opened the big doors I’d often have the chapel to myself for over an hour.
It was beautiful in the morning, when the light streamed in through the south-facing windows, lighting up the paintings on the eastern wall: The Rule of the Antichrist and the Coronation of the Elect
